ok, so i thought ive made my decision, a friend of mine had a ppc6700. he told me he is having problems with aim. he said the only way you can actually use aim is by downloading agile aim or verichat aim.
and he says those either charges are have a few bugs on them.

anyways, he said the ppc6700 is a great phone but aim is not officially capable for it.

is there another phone you guys can suggest? with these features?
    -AIM
-a decent speed on the internet (like the sidekick)
    -Has a keyboard
-that isnt a treo or blackberry
    -Camera + Video
    -Mp3

yes im trying to find the phone that has all the package.

Now, I'm not too sure about transfering files through bluetooth. I've heard that Verizon cripples their bluetooth, but not sure if on every phone.

The only difference is that one is for Sprint, while the other is for Verizon.

thanks. ive heard that the phone by cingular has poor internet speed.
so im leaning more towards the sprint verizon phone, it seems perfect! although i cant really say the same about the looks.
im wondering if this phone is capable of having AOL instant messenger? it didnt say in the webpage you showed me.

If you plan on switching to Cingular, I recommend the 8125. Check it out here: HTC Wizard / 8125 / 8100 / MDA (USA) / K-JAM Specs & Features (Phone Scoop)

If you plan on going with Sprint or Verizon, I recommend the PPC-6700. Check it out here: UTStarcom PPC-6700 / XV-6700 / HTC Apache Specs & Features (Phone Scoop)

im in need of a new phone. i been using a sidekick 2 for a year and its almost down to a point where i need to buy a new phone.
im tired of t-mobile and my contract is about to expire, i dont plan on being a tmobile customer any longer. the reception isnt so great.
i thought about the sidekick 3, but like i said, im not interested in being a tmobile customer any longer.
my limit is under $300, and the features im looking for is...
    -Instant messenging (AIM)
-Internet (not the generic ones neither, i like to view a website that is almost like a pc, and the speed must match a sidekick internet speed)
    -Video + Cam
-It must slide or flip a Keyboard out. the blackberry and the treo dose not do this.
    -screen cannot be to SMALL.

and more importantly, it has to LOOK NICE!

any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
