I'll try to download those codecs or players later. I tried to make another zip file of the whole directory and again, only some of my pics and vids made it to my computer. Some of them were different than the first time and some were the same. Like I said it shows it reading all of the files, and it takes about 45min until its finished (I have 92 pics & vids so it takes a while). So its as if its doing all of them but then when I unzip it and look at the files, only about 15 files are transferred.
ALSO, when I try to do each file individually, it doesnt seem to do anything. Right-clicking and going to Save brings up an error message about manipulating the file system. Thats why I have just been trying to zip the whole directory. Anyone know about this?

Glad I could help. It's crazy to have to pay to get YOUR pics from your phone to your computer. I have not taken any video with my phone (because the quality is probably so bad), but the format is probably .3gp I downloaded a .3pg video from the net, and it played on my Windows Media Player. If yours doesn't, you can go here :
Free-Codecs.com :: Guides : An easy way to play 3GP files
    Or here:
Nokia - Nokia 3660 Phone Support More Software and download a free player (Nokia Multimedia Player in English ) that will work.

You can also download a free player from here: 3GP Player 2006 download free 3GP Player 2006 free download Play all your 3GP videos on your Pc supports 3GP, 3GP2, MP4
As for the pics, every time I right-click on "Review" in the phone directory, and "back up", all my pics transferred to my PC in a "Review" folder. If not, then, yes, transfer the remaining ones one at a time. Hope this helps.

Perfect. Thank you very much. I finally was able to make some headway thanks to your response. Just 2 questions.
    1) While I was able to transfer the video files as well as the jpg files, I was unable to play the videos, and they have a strange extension. Is there a way to play the videos on the computer?
    2) I made a zip file of the whole directory the way you explained. It copied all the files and you can see in the progress bar at the bottom it was reading all of the pics & vids on my phone. However, when I actually unzipped it and looked at the files, only about 1/3 of them were there. Is this normal? Do I just have to go back and pull the rest of the files manually?
    Thanks.

    Here you go, Notorious:
I used the Sprint USB cable (for the LG LX-350) in conjunction with the following driver and software.
1 - Get the LG driver software from DataPilot, aka Susteen:
    Support Center
The zip file name is: LG Phone Driver II (LG Essentials/ Individual Cable DP- CU27)
(if it tells you you need to log in, that message is probably because you are not allowing scripts for susteen.com, so allow them)
You can also go to DataPilot Cell Phone Mobile Sync Software & Data Cables, click on “Support”, click on “Downloads”, in the left panel… click on “Cable & Phone Drivers (PC)”, click on “LG Phone Driver II (LG Essentials/ Individual Cable DP- CU27)”

2 - Get the BitPim software from Welcome to BitPim. The current version today is 0.9.07 development release. The file name is bitpim-0.9.07-setup.exe.

I got this to work with the following configuration:
Laptop running Windows XP Home Edition, Service Pack 2, running BitPim 0.9.07.
I did not need to reboot after loading the driver software.

1 - UnZIP the driver ZIP file, and run setup.exe. Windows complains that it is not certified, but install it anyway.
2 - Turn on the LX350, attach the USB cable to it and to the PC.
The PC should recognize it as a new device, and ask about loading the drivers. It complains again about them not being certified. I just said okay to everything. (On the Laptop with XP, I had to approve three separate drivers as they came up):
    - LGE CDMA Composite USB Device
    - LGE CDMA USB Modem
    - LGE CDMA USB Serial Port

3 - Run the BitPim self-extracting setup file. By default, it starts up the BitPim software, I think. If not, start the software now, with the phone on and plugged in. The default directory for the application is C:\Program Files\BitPim

    - The BitPim software has an icon on the lower right, which turned green within a few seconds, after some text scrolled by. Hooray! It recognized the phone as "other CDMA phone on COM5."
    - On the top menu bar, under "View", click on "View Filesystem." This is a toggle - a check should appear next to it, and a Filesystem icon should appear in the left window.
    - Click on the Filesystem icon. A folder should be visible in the center window.
    - Click on the folder to see the sub-folders.
    - Click on Dcam (digital camera)
    - Click on Review. At this point, a list of files shows up in the right window, with names like Pic0002.jpg. These are your pictures!
    - You can download them individually by right clicking on the file names, and saving them to your PC. If you do this, they transfer as .jpg files.
    - You can download the whole list of files by right clicking on the Review icon, then selecting "backup directory". This saves a .ZIP file, with all the pictures in it, onto your PC.
    - Several minutes to download all the pictures, if you have a good many.

Other sources of software (which may have a better user interface) and also have the USB cables for sale, are:
    - Datapilot.com = Susteen.com
    - Cell Phone Accessories, iPod & Zen MP3 Accessories, Digital Camera Accessories, Computer Accessories and more - has many accessories, including a USB charging cable. (The Sprint USB cable does not include charging via the USB cable from a PC, although it has a tiny jack on the cable, which may allow charging the LX350 with an adapter.)

Neither of the above software sources currently provides bidirectional transfer of pictures; only download to the PC, so I think this solution using BitPim is probably as functional as either purchased product.

In the spring I bought an LX350. I was told that there is no way to send/recieve data/pics/vids/etc between my phone and my computer, unless I subscribe for the picture mail and all that stuff. They said there was no data cord for the phone. So last week I was in the sprint store and they told me that there is now an official Sprint datacord that will work with my phone. It even says on the box that it can be used w/ the lx350. I ordered a datacord online, and I was told to download BitPim. I installed the driver and plugged my phone in, and the computer recognized it and BitPim identified that my phone was connected. Everything checked out so far, but then when I tried to transfer files, every time I did something it gives me an error message that the file/directory has been blocked by the provider. I talked to someone at sprint to find out why there is a cord for my phone but apparently no info can be sent or recieved. Sprint guy had no clue. Anyone else have these problems? I have been on other forums before and people on there are able to use BitPim and the data cords with their lx350. Just doesnt make sense that there is a data cord specifically for the phone yet access to everything on the phone is blocked. Am I doing something wrong? Is there a hack or a way to bypass all that? Thanks.
