That's because there is no camcorder built into the phone. It is a picture only phone. I hope a sales rep didn't tell you that you could take video with it. If so you should go back and pay them a visit. That said, this is one nice phone, nothing fancy, but strong battery, great voice quality and picks up signal well.

I was looking at the manual and it mentions a camcorder in the index. I can't seem to actually find out how to activate the camcorder.
