    I really don't know. I've yet to get me own sidekick myself, but I've definitely read a LOT about them and looking in the mirror picturing myself with one.

    I'd just call T-Mobile and do whatever you have to do. It may be a small fee because the ones they sell on the shelf come with activation and other stuff in the "starter kit", but I could be wrong.

    Okay, what you need to do is call T-Mobile and tell them you bought a used one and want to start a Prepaid account and need a SIM card. They will send this to you, and you'll put it in the slot behind the battery. (The SIM card tells the phone basically what your number is and what signals to pick up.) You'll also have to make a new Sidekick user account, which I'd mention it to them as well. Since all of the Sidekick's data is stored online, once you put in your user account name and password, all of the seller's stuff will be gone. All services should work properly unless if it's a faulty model, which I highly doubt.

    ok im buying a used sidekick 3 and i was told it wasnt able to use aim or internet browser cuz if it was registered? but the guy before me had it prepaid and i want it prepaid as well. would i still be able to use aim ad internet, or what??? how is it registered and any way can i be able to buy it from him and use aim and internet if i get it prepaid, plz let me know!!! thanks
