Well, unless you have a Chocolate, the 1GB card does exactly the same thing as your 2GB card. It holds 1GB of pictures and music. The only phone that supports the 2GB card's full capacity, at this time, is the Chocolate.

On a side note, the VX9900 will take a MicroSD card (the VX9800 takes a MiniSD card), and should support the full 2GB capacity.

I doubt that there will be an update for the VX9800 to support the 2GB chip. They will probably just make the VX9900 compatible when it's released in the next few weeks/months.

To the best of my knowledge, the only LG phone that can support a 2GB card at this time is the Chocolate. I do not believe that there is a software upgrade for the V, or any other phone for that matter, that will allow 2GB support. I will try to look into it further.

i think anything with the version 5 software can use a 2 gig (correct me if im wrong)

    Oh...yeah.....see that now.

Does anybody else have a V that will accept a 2 gig card? Maybe one of the newer ones, or one that has been upgraded to the latest software?

I think he was referring to his 2GB memory card. Not his VX9800.

You'd have a very hard time convincing me you bought a LG VX 9800 for 42 bucks.

I both sell and buy on Ebay all the time, and am always looking for a good deal. There has never been a V that went for that kind of price that I have ever seen.

when you take pictures with your camera remember to set your resolution(size) before taking the pictureand it also matters if you took the picture vertical or horizontal
