    Char777,

Thanks a lot for the info.

I found out that "Justalk" is the program that may work best for us.

Hmmm, well, you can get a T-Mobile To Go Phone. Although, the $10 denomination expires in 30 days and the $25 and $50 ones expire in 90 days. But, once you refill $100 into your phone, you get at least 15% more minutes, and they won't expire for a whole year. It's a pretty good deal. I'm not too familiar with TracFone, so I can't compare the two at this time.

    Hi Everyone,

My wife & I are interested in each of us having a cell phone/tracphone/walkie talkie or whatever, for emergency use, only. We need NO FRILLS!
I've tried a TracPhone, but do not use the allotted units/calling time prior to its expiration.
What's the best deal, including good calling service, at the BEST price? We are in Western Pennsylvania.

    Thanks,

    drt2375
