Well the Scosche Modulator basically gives you a line input like a FM tuner does, but it plugs in between the radio & the antenna, so you get a really clean signal. This gives you the option of a 3.5mm jack input, or RCA inputs, depending on the device.

I am looking for something that will take the stereo Bluetooth signal from the Chocolate, and let me connect it to the car stereo. I was visualizing a 12v bluetooth receiver to RCA or 3.5mm jack device.

I guess if they do not make such a device, I could get a set of cheap bluetooth headphones, and make my own adapter for the car.....take the speaker output to the headphones to a stereo line output.....just a thought.

The only BT profiles supported on the Chocolate are: Mono Headset, Stereo Headset, Handsfree, Modem Functionality (1xRTT/EVDO), Serial Port and Data Sync (phonebook/calendar). So, if your setup conforms to one of those BT profiles, it will work. If not, then it won't work. My guess, it will not work, but you can as Crutchfield what profile their device runs.

I am thinking on getting a chocolate phone in the next few months, and wondered if there was a solution to stream the bluetooth to the car stereo? aka a bluetooth > FM tuner, or similar device......

If there is a bluetooth > line in jack adapter, I could make use of this as well, as Crutchfield has a nice adapter to get a fairly clean line-in on any radio....

Item is "Scosche FM-MOD01 Modulator" on Crutchfield.....I'm too new here to post a link, I guess......
