Not the D807! When I chose this phone for an upgrade I almost dismissed the salesgirl's promise that it could be exchanged within 30 days (Cingular). Thank god I heard it. I forget all of my gripes, but off the top of my head - this is a two handed phone. If your fingers are dry you need to get a little stick on them to slide the thing. You cannot hold it in your hand and dial with the same hand, your fingers just cannot crook that far. The jazzy graphics are impossible to read - either too small with a shadow effect (i.e. blur) or LARGE PRINT. It goes on from there. I couldn't wait to get rid of this thing. I switched to a LG CU500 and love it.

    Hey there--

Well, Motorola RAZR's are very reliable, and easy to use. I've previously owned the new iTunes Razr and it's awesome! Better than the regular razr. Anyway, I had just purchased a Samsung t629 which is similar to the D800/D900 (it's a t-mobile phone) and I love it! It's about the same size as a closed razr, and there are also more features such as the camera's quality, and much more. It, too, has and MP3 player.

They are both good phones, but everyone has a razr! Be Unique!! =] & envied. The slider is my choice.

    Just my point of view.

    GOOD LUCK!

Now it's between the Samsung D807 or the RAZR with iTunes. Any insight? I'm leaning towards the slider just because I hear it's better and it looks nice. Any comments? Thanks.

id stick with a phone that is actually sold within your country. Im really regretting the D900 as its not sold in north america and im gonna have a hard time even gettin samsung to waranty it. Also there are other compatability problems with the phone and the north american networks. I.E. no conection to the internet.

That's why I'm hesitant on the D900 because it's not like I could just go get it fixed or return it easily.

Not happy with my D900 it looks great but the reception is poor and my LCD screen became faulty after 3 weeks. Dunno what to do about it besides buy a new screen and get it fixed seeing as its not sold in Canada.

Hello. Christmas is coming up and I'm going to upgrade to a new phone. Lately, I've been thinking about which phone I want. I really like the sliders. I was thinking about buying a D807 or D900. The D900 is more expensive and I'd have to order it probably overseas. D807 would be easy to get and a lot cheaper. Another option is some type of Razr. If I were to choose a Razr, it'd have to be one that can play mp3s because I want a music player on my phone. Can anyone help me figure out which I should get and what phone would be a better investment? By the way, my service provider is Cingular. Thanks.
