Samsung is Samsung shouldnt matter where the phone was made
Well, it really does. Where a product is sold is where it is MEANT to comply with that reigon's specific specifications and regulations... for example, the US has the FCC to comply with.

It's not too hard, look around the internet for directions. Slider's are the hardest to fix, imho.

OMG are you kidding me. How can a phone thats a month old LCD screen die. God damn what a expensive peice of crap Samsung made here with the D900 i guess. Well thanks for responding.

Ok if i went to buy one of these could i replace it myself? Are there directions on how to do this anywhere on the net? Dont wanna have to spend a fortune to get it fixed by a shop seeing as i just spent so much on the phone.

Ahh, I wish I saw this sooner. Simple fix (well, ok, not that simple) is this: buy a new LCD. It will be your only option. An LCD monitor would do almost the same thing when it dies, except it "leaks".

    It'll cost $100 - $200 to replace it

more lines are showing up slowly and it looks like they are begging horizontally too. POS phone!! reception is horrible too. Now what you'd expect for $400. But i would like to get it fixed as cheaply as possible so anyone know what needs to be fixed to resolve this problem??

Ok bought a samsung D900 a month ago and and it developed a couple of black and colored lines down the right hand side of the screen they are completley straigh and verticle. And they will block out anything that would originally show on the screen in those spots. What could possibly be wrong with it. I bought it from KN Niche and they wont cover any type of waranty and im pissed they said id have to send it to asia samsung and i have to cover the costs. Can anyone help me out??
