    Hi.
I made my own 2.5mm to 3.5mm adapter by soldering some pins. I basically plug this adapter into the 2.5mm headset slot, then plug my earphones into the adapter that I made. However, the music sounds really really bad on my earphones this way(worse than tape quality). Before I dish out the money to buy a pop port to 3.5mm adapter, I was just wondering if someone could confirm that music will not sound this bad when connected to the pop port? Does the 2.5mm port just simply suck for music, or is the phone in general not a very good mp3 player? Thanks!
