    What happened was I enabled something to do with the Pin code so I had to enter the code..it was all 0's as the instruction guide said so I entered it and then it asked for a new Pin code, I presume to change it, then I had to confirm the new pin so I typed it again and it said Wrong PUK, which doesn't make sense if I was making a new one, how could it be wrong? Well I tried a few more times and then it said Blocked PUK and it wouldn't even let me enter a pin code. The ONLY thing it will let me do besides on/off is an SOS, calling the police, and they wouldn't be too happy if I asked them to help me fix my phone...

    Oh yea, I have a contract.

    No? With my phone I locked it and it gave me the option to put a pin in. Are you in a contract or are you a pre-paid customer?

    Unfortunately, there is no place to enter a pin code even if I got one. I called Cingular and they said that I would have to buy a new SIM card...

    Hello joe4875, and welcome to CPF! Your question is a common problem, and one that can be solved very simply. All you have to do is call your service provider and inform them that you have a PUK lock on your phone, and you need a code generated in order to use your phone. They will provide you with the code and you will be making calls in no time!

    So my phone is completely locked up now and it only allows an SOS call...I can't even enter a code. What can I do to fix this? Do I need to get a new SIM? Or take it into the provider? (Cingular)
