Thanks tech411. I will call and get my MSL right now.

you will need to do this.

    Modem NAI Disable Procedure
To disable the secondary Modem NAI, get your MSL by calling Sprint Customer Service (*2). Then, go to Menu > Settings > Display, and press 0 to access a hidden menu. Enter your MSL as the security code. At the following menu, scroll to Toggle NAI and choose Off Modem NAI, followed by OK. Then power the phone off immediately. When you turn the phone back on, Modem NAI will be disabled.

    Hi,
I have the Samsung a640. I purchased the Linksys USBBT100 v.2 USB Bluetooth adapter and it connected to my phone fine. However, the Bluetooth Modem function will open the Data Modem on my phone, it just won't communicate as a modem. I repeatedly get "no dialtone" or "busy signal" error messages. I am using an IBM R40 laptop computer running Windows XP Pro SP2. Can anyone help, Linksys was no help at all and I can't find any usefull info on IBM's website either! Very frustrating. Thanks.
