Can someone please help me with this last question. Would I be able to download the software off the website and use this blue tooth adapter(Targus - Wireless Bluetooth USB 2.0 Adapter - ACB10US) on my computer to transfer mp3 files?? Has anybody done this? Is it simple and quick?

Yeah I wanted that phone too but it's way too expensive compared to the sync. Thanks for all the help.

No free internet that I know of.
I don't use any of the data features yet, but I think you get free 7 days demos of some of the features such as XM radio, MobiTV ect...

Mini and Micro SD are NOT the same. Micro SD are about the size of your fingernail and cost a little more. They can be somewhat difficult to get in and out of the phone, I have found. I use a paper clip to help. Just be careful and don't force the card too much. I only take the card out to use my card reader to transfer large movies files, otherwise I just leave it. Files transfers via USB can be a little slow.

I don't think most people hold their phones from the bottom. At least, I hold mine from the sides. I did do a test and I "cupped" the bottom of the phone with my whole hand and It went down from 5 bars to 4. I have never noticed any degradation of call quality from just normal usage. My wife also has the SYNC and she has never complained about anything. If there was something she did not like about the phone, I would surley hear about it.

The SYNC is not perfect, but I don't think you can get a better phone in it's category. I almost got the Sony Ericsson w810i which has a better MP3 player, but no 3G. What sold me on the SYNC was that it was a flip phone and the better looking, larger screen.
I have a few complaints about the phone, but like I said ,no phone is perfect. Its a good value for the $$$. IMO.

Also I understand that the antenna is at the bottom of the phone where people usually put their hand to hold the phone. Does placing your hand there disrupt calls or just degrade quality?

The software you will need is call Samsung PC Studio 3 which can be downloaded from Samsung's website.

You might also consider getting a adapter so you can use a regular 3.5mm plug for headphones.

Also, I suggest at least a 1GB MicroSD card for videos, movies, lots of mp3s and stuff. You can get one @ Meritline.com for about $16 shipped right now.

I got this phone for MP3s but I find myself watching videos more than I thought I would.

This is a great phone for the price.
Thanks for the help and advice. I got another question since you're a current owner of the phone. Does it come with free internet for the first month? Also are micro sd and mini sd cards the same?

But first I wanted to know if theres a way to just buy the cable(maybe I can find that at a cingular store) and download the software somewhere on the internet to transfer mp3s because 40 dollars is a lot of money for the kit.
