I used to say that too. But then Nokia used to own the marketplace. Since then, they've given up dominance to Motorola.

No cell phone manufacturer is going to be everything to everyone. But where Nokia is and where they were is an embarrassment. They have gotten cheap and unresponsive to the marketplace and it has cost them dearly in marketshare.

I used to say Nokia forever. Now I can't imagine the day they'll ever be innovative enough again to capture my attention. Certainly their product line up today is completely uninspiring.

Motorola is it. At least for the foreseeable future. No debate about that.

I've bought a lot of Samsungs in the past few years and although I like their designs, they're often flimsy after a while and heavy and the ringtones and menu looks are jokes. They're okay, but I'd like to try some others next time.

Nokias, although I don't have too much experience with them, every single one of their new models have absolute great designs and features packed with the same durability that's been coming from Nokias for years.

Motorolas usually have good designs, but the interface is bothersome.

Kyoceras are ugly and unreliable, as far as I've used them.

The next phone I'd like to buy is a Danger Sidekick 3 and a PEBL. I'm going to China next year, and since T-Mobile only has the 900 MHz band in China, that's one place where the Sidekick lacks. I love everything about the Sidekick except for it's lack of the 900 MHz band. I'm also interested in trying Nokia or Motorola again.
