    When he called me about the problem I went through a few troubleshooting efforts and the reinstall of the battery along with changing the battery with his extra battery was one of those efforts, but pressing the on and off button seemed to do the trick.
    I was wondering if anyone new why this occurred, I did ask him if he dropped the phone or damaged it in some way, but he only shut down the phone at night, and tried to turn it on in the morning but the phone would not respond.

    A friend of mine could not get his razr to turn back on after shutting it down the night before. He made sure the battery was fully charge, when it was… the phone still would not turn on. He then pressed the on and off button at the same time which turn on the phone. Anyone hear… or knows anything about this type of problem.
