The hex editor did work, thanks so much! I am so grateful and my wife was thrilled since everyone she talked to at Verizon had told her it was a lost cause. I bow to thee, TrustNo1!

Thanks, TrustNo1. I'm looking for a hex patcher program I guess. Anyone have or know where to get A670PicPatcher.zip? I've read in several places mention of this program but can't find it anywhere...

Here's a list of some other Image file formats as well.

The only thing i can think of that you didn't list is .tif, but that's usually used in scanning situations. Worth a shot though.

My wife's phone was run over and I can't get a signal to transfer pics to her pics account with Verizon, so I got a data cable, installed BitPim, located the images on the phone.

The problem is when I save the image files to the PC they are without file extension. Does anyone know the file ext. or is there something else I can try? I tried .gif, .png, .jpg, .jpeg. Those didn't seem to work...

    Also, tried .bmp!
