I think it is because the phone will only play files with DRM embedded within them i.e. easyedgeSM downloads (for U.S. Cellular). let me know if you find a convertor

Hey guys, I have encountered a problem in my new Nokia 6255i. It is when I wish to set an MP3, AMR, or MIDI as a ringtone. I was successfully able to transfer them all to my phone via either bluetooth or the DKU-2 data cable, but when I want to set them to a profile ringtone, it gives me an "Invalid File" error. This is the case for any MP3's, custom AMR's, or custom MIDI's. The AMR's and MIDI's that came factory are able to be set as ringtones, but not any that I have imported. I even went as far as trying to use a program to convert a MP3 to AMR and send it, but it still gives me the same error. I didn't know if any of you guys might have any idea on what might be causing this. Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
