    Found this on another forum. Apparently the bitrate can't be more than 192Kbps and the filesize no more than 600KB.

    ... just make sure when you set an mp3 you transferred from your computer to your phone as a ringtone that the size is 600K OR LESS. if you try to set a full song as a ringtone it will give you the error message "not allowed"...

    I have a mp3 file with my daughter voice, I would like to have a ringtone.
    I loaded the memory card and i can't use that file for my ringtone.
    Can, please, someone help me out...why my mp3 file doesn't work????
