I tried one of those in my boat and it didn't do anything for me. I ended up getting a cell phone booster. I really wanted a wireless booster but I have an open console boat and couldn't use it because it needs 2 antennas to work. I'm really happy with the one I have -- check it out: PowerMax™ DA4000 Direct Connect Cellular Signal Amplifier Cell Phone Booster - Digital Antenna

I just bought a generic antenna extender off of ebay a few days ago ( it is the kind you stick behind the battery of the phone) and I was wondering if anyone on the forums has any expierence with these extenders and if they really do add "a bar or two" to your phone.
