You are correct. I am trying to use the LG phone as a modem. I am able to get the Palm to connect to the phone, and for the phone to connect to Tiva, sending user name and password, but then the data tranmission will not transmit. One of my conterparts is doing what I am trying to accomplish however he is using a motorola phone. Somedwhere there is a code to change within the LG phone that will allow the data to be transmitted.

What exactly are you trying to do? Use your phone as a modem for your Palm device? You will most likely not be able to do that, at least not via Bluetooth. The Bluetooth profiles are not set up that way.

I have an LG8300 with Verizon as service provider. I use a Palm PDA with TIVa software for product ordering. So far I have had to use a socket modem with the Palm/Tiva. Have been able to connect the plam via bluetooth to the LG, but unable to transmit data. What should I do to transmit data via LG phone?
