Which type/brand of usb cable are you using? did you re-boot your PC after installing MPT?

Were you able to connect your phone to MPT4? It couldn't find my phone so I manually installed it but the screen keeps showing "Initializing... Please Wait...." and doesn't do anything else. I also tried to synch it with Window's Media Player 10 but it says I don't have a phone connected?

PS: my phone doesn't have warranty, so it doesn't matter.

just follow all the instructions on that site, and you'll be good, but remember, hacking your phone voids warranty, but if u just need usb drivers, they are right there, just scroll down

What do you mean a driver? I wasn't sure what to look for on Google but I did come across some information that said I needed to installl the phone as a modem? How would I do that?

I am trying to connect my motorzr to my computer using a USB cable but my computer won't recognize it. I even tried downloading the Motorola Mobile PhoneTools program but still can't connect. Is there a step that I am missing? Thanks in advance!
