    1) FCC required rebanding of the Iden network
    2) Sprints/Nextel Store associates
    3) Other nextel forums
    4) Sprints push to move both nextel and sprint customers to the new 1900 CDMA network, especially when Qchat is released later this year after EVDO rev A is fully implemented

there will be little to no new purely nextel phones. most phones release through nextel from this point forward will be hybrid phones like the two that are currently available. this will continue until qchat (the next ptt sytem) is up and running at which point all new phones will use this service. it is rumored to be up and running late this year or early next year.

Well any info that I have seen or heard of has been off of the internet. "Phone Scoop" says that it is coming, but no real confirmation of when. I did ask a Sprint/Nextel rep about it and he had no other info, but that is was going to be a PDA. I too would love to know some more!!!
