    Hello,
I found this site from a Google search while looking for phone features.
I have lurked for awhile, now time to register and participate.
A little about how I use a phone in case anyone is interested (perhaps they also live and work in fringe areas).

I use a Motorola RazrV3 and a Sierra Wireless G3 Aircard with Cingular service.
The Razr is mostly for calls, some text message and I am not going to brouse on the small screen. I use the camera regularly taking pics of equipment, sending it to my clients usually with the message "I told you it broke" I sometime link the phone to my notebook via Bluetooth to send/recieve mail and data.

The air card is my prefered data sender.

As I write this I am hooked to a booster and antenna with -68dBm signal strength. Without the booster & antenna it is about -90. This is from a temporary field office in the boondocks. At home I have 2 bars on the phone and -85 on the air card and they work ok.

    Anyway, hello again.
    Carl
