    1. Try formatting as FAT32 in the computer
    2. Insert in the phone and try RE-formatting as it needs to create some directories.
    3. If it reports that it is locked, your last 4 digits of the phone number should work to unlock it.

    I've never had this problem, but I've seen it in other posts.

    Be more specific as to how you know it's not working on the 8600. Are you trying to open a file or save one with it?
