Mybat sells a cable for the u645. It includes a driver disc and the driver also works for u340. This driver also worked for the Samsung cable I bought (the Samsung cable does not include a driver disc).

Mobiletrends sells a cable for the u340 that includes a driver disc, although I haven't tried this one.

Now the bad news. Near as I can figure, Bitpim doesn't support the u340. I downloaded version 9.14 last night, and although it connected to the phone (recognizing it as "other CDMA phone") all the check boxes were greyed out in the menu, so I wasn't able to upload or download anything.

If you want me to email the Mybat drivers to you, contact me via my web page:

I know some phones drivers work for other phones...since the U340 s new, I'll probably have to find drivers for a similar phone. Verizon doesn't want users to be able to upload their own files to their phones....I don't care what Verizon wants. It's MY phone, and I'll do with it what I want.

I paid a visit to SamsungUSA.com and visited the knowledge base. Here's what it had to say:

    Code:
Samsung does not offer software or drivers for connectivity
Looks like you might want to pay a visit to e-bay to look for the CD

My wife has this new phone, and I haven't been able to find drivers for it anywhere. Is there a recent similar model that'll work? Any clues....bitpim won't recognize it without a driver...and the generic CDMA driver is useless.
