I just bought the a900m and I am having problems putting ringtones on here as well, can someone tell me how to go about it, ie: what file to phut them in what format and what program you are using to cut clips to put on there.

    TIA

They do work, but if you have an mp3 assigned as a ringtone, when you get a call, sometimes the mp3 does not play. Yes, i agree, they work very well, in the media player, but as a ringtone, it's a gamble. I have mp3's as ringtones, and most of them work, but i've had some that don't. Just like the camera, if you assign a picture that you took with the camera, and assign it to a contact, the picture will sometimes be scrambled when they call. Just because the phone has a feature, doesn't mean it works very well.

You need to put them in the file "MEDIA" for the phone to be able to read it. As for using them as ringtones, it would be eaisier if you registered with a site such as mbuzzy.com, and upload your songs onto it, and have them sent to your phone as ringtones. If you do find out witch file you put them into for the phone to play them, mp3's don't work well with the a900.

Hello. I have a Samsung A900m and am trying to get ringtones onto my phone from my computer. I have been able to transfer files to my phone via the USB cable. But when I try to open them with the file viewer it says "Unsupported Document Format by fileviewer" I have also been unable to find a way to view these files under my listing of ringtones. Whether this is because it doesn't recognize the format or if it is not looking in the right place. Please help!
