    Thank you again for your help!! Sadly (this is what happens when you're still a newbie lol), it turns out that the format I'm working with is *3G2*, which must be enough different from *3G* ~ I'm so frustrated lol! When I go to use the program (I finally found which link to click on and download it lol!!),
    it wants you to 'look' for 3G cell videos in your 'puter.....oh well...my mistake!! If anyone might know of one just as good as this one, that accepts/converts ones in 3G2 format, pleassse post here....

    Yeah, I know what you mean . Just click one of the links that says either "server 1" or "server 2" and it'll come up with the download prompt. May I add that it does a very fine job of converting too !

    This is what I use - it converts 3GP to AVI very well and is 100% free as far as I can tell.

    I need a program that will do the opposite...from 3gp to avi and/or mpg ~ if anyone knows of a good one that's free, please post here ~ thanks so much!!

    Try Xilisoft 3gp converter. I have it and it works very well. It will allow you to convert from avi and mpg to 3gp.

    I can't really tell you which is a good converter, but I can tell you that you'll need to convert them to 3gp or mp4. 3gp's probably better. Mp4 is better quality, but not as many phones support it.
