YAY, i figured it out. Just renaming the mp3's to .mid without doing any kind of coverting, The mid works fine with ringtones. I transfered them using my MicroSD card for it. Not sure if it works with any other method of transfer but the SD card works great.

Also just in case this is helpful to anyone, i try'd using my headset from my original xbox(xbox live) and it works great for a handsfree until i get a working bluetooth. Some bluetooth devices seem to have complications with the a930.

All i want is to use ringtones. the music player would also be nice but the ringtones are the priority.

I cant figure out how to get the ringtones to work with a particuar format, i have tried wma mp3 mp4 and qcp.
None of wich will register in the phone.

Qcp although shows up in the phone it still will not play or show up in my sounds or music.

I also am using a microsd to transfer my files. Can anyone pls help to figure out exactly how to convert an mp3 to a format that will work and if so then what else may i need?

Sorry if this is an old question but i cant find a post that has an explanation.

    Thnx, Dave
