Like everything in life... the phone for you depends....

which will be its main function?

If you want install a lots of apps (use the pfone as a remote control, a webcam, an answer machine, etc. N73 is for you)

If you want a phone with an awersome camera (SE has better cameraphones (Kseries) than Nokia) K800i will be yor choice

I was in your situation b4..but I chose Nokia just because it's a smartphone.. I needed those reminder etc on the screen. The camera is great too..you'll love it!

Well, I didn't see this. If you had a question about these 2, you should have posted in the Sony Ericsson forum as well. Then I would've answered for you.

I've had both. Just remember, the N73 is a smart phone. So that gets points over the K800i because you can use 3rd party apps. However, with the N73 using S60 OS, it lags when cross navigating between menus. So if you like instant response from your phone, this will annoy you. And more than likely, just like others who used recent S60 models, you'd have to upgrade the firmware because they're buggy.

In terms of picture quality, the K800i takes my vote IMO. Overall, I'd pick the K800i. There's alot more stuff to note. But just do a comparison search on sites like GSMArena and check out the reviews.

I sold them both because I didn't see picture taking on my phone as a priority, so I stayed with my SE W810i.

If you have any more questions about Nokias or Sony Ericssons, please feel free to ask.

I had the same choice and I chose Nokia N73. Just personal preference, I liked the how it looks. I can't really rule out one big advantage from one to the other.

Hey, i wasnt sure where to post this but i decided on putting it in here. But i dont want any biased views since its the nokia forum, just your honest opinion lol. Ok, im about to renew my contract in a week or two and i just wanted to see which phones is generally better between the Sony Ericsson K800i and the Nokia N73. Ive had a nokia and sony phone before and liked them both, i was just wondering on what you guys would suggest as being the better phone.

    regards jonnyboy
