First, try turning off the phone and take out the battery. Count to 10 and put it back in (troubleshooting, Page 172 of your user manual). Now, it's possible that might fix the problem. If it doesn't, go to the home screen:

Start > Settings > Date&Time: Is "Auto Update" on or off? Try resetting your time and time zone, and toggle "Auto Update" (if it's on turn it off, if it's off turn it on).

I don't know anything about the Blackjack and have never actually seen one, but I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night! Just kidding (don't say you haven't seen those commercials, lol), I googled your user manual and spent about 10 minutes reading through it so maybe someone else has had this problem and can give you different advice but that's what I'd do if it were me and see if it fixes the problem. Good luck!
