i have done some research and think i have come up with the issue

This phone is tri-band and covers 900/1800/1900 mHz. Cingular in my area transmits on 850/1900. Is it possible that because the triband doesn't cover 850 it isn't working and if so is there any way to reporgram my phone to receive on 850 mhz......

I bought this phone in Singpore and brought it home...plugged in my SIM card and how all it does is reboot, and reboot and reboot. I was told it was unlocked...but even if it wasn't I can't get into the phone to unlock it... I of course can not get support from where i got it and the samsung site was useless---any thoughts?
