Might want to re-review forum rules.

Advertising your own website is not kosher.

"CPF does not condone advertising on this board. Please refrain from advertising products and other websites in your posts."

hi there, on talktime, how long is the battery expected to last? I'm a music junkie and listen to music all the time. I'm from S'pore and not gotten an iphone, but reading your posts made me re-think if i should get it when it sells here in 2008. and ditto on the battery part. It's irksome to not have your phone with you when it's at the factory for a battery change.. unless the seller supplies a replacement phone for that period.

Hard-wired battery. Big problem since most of us start seeing a decay in talk time after ongoing use. Most cell phone batteries simply die after a year or two. This happens and your expensive iPhone is junk.

I have another prediction that seems relevant to point out in this thread. This phone is NOT going to be easy to use in large parts of the country during winter months. You simply cannot dial on that screen with your fingers in gloves during winter months.

I wouldn't be banking Apple stock based on this device. I doubt its long term appeal.

Hopefully one day, phones with the brighter OLED screens will be sold.

Yes, the iPhone is not on the fastest network - 3G.

(TMK - it is still not considered 'painfully slow'.)

    Battery part is true.

You'll have to ask a user about the LCD in sunlight part. It's probably like most LCD's in the sunlight; very hard to read.
