    ugh, i think you're right.. that's what i was dreading. guess i have to spend more money or get my lazy ass sister to actually try and help me out.. she's the account holder but will never look into any type of upgrade even though i desperately need it. i don't just want a new phone, i NEED it before this one just dies all together

    As I understand it, you would not be able to use Verizon with a GSM phone. You would need to switch to a GSM carrier.

    okay so i have a terrible phone thats been beaten to death.. the LG vx6100 w/verizon service. I simply need to know if this is possible;

    i want to buy the motorola krzr k1m- unlocked gsm phone.

    so, if i were to buy it, would i be able to activate it and use it and still be charged my regular verizon bill?

    im just confused because idk if it's possible to switch from cdma to gsm. please someone answer ASAP because i want to upgrade my phone at a cheaper price (unlocked gsm)
