    From a technical standpoint, you're just putting a file on a card, and if in a card reader in your PC, you can put just about whatever you want to on it. So I'd have to say yes, but you can't necessarily USE it on you phone.

    Yes. You will be able to save the file on your phone and be able to see the .txt file on your computer. I know that you cannot open the file on your cellphone itself. I don't if there is a way to do that on the cellphone but yes you can connect it your computer and open the file on the computer.

    I want to buy a cell phone and I'm wondering, if I buy a samsung phone (the T809 is my first choice for now) with a memory slot, can I create a text document (not just a .txt, anything) and put it back on my computor and view it? Thank you very much.
