I have a Kyocera Strobe (same phone, different name, different provider).

I've heard the same complaints, too.

While you're talking, hold the bottom of the phone away from your mouth (like, tilted to the back of your head) and speak more quietly than normal.

Using a headset works well, also.

It's not a defective phone, it's just the way it is.

I have a Kyocera K612 Switchback (Virgin Mobile) that while I can hear the caller fine (extremely clearly), they tell me I sound as if I'm speaking on a speaker phone with a bit of echoing. Is this something others have reported with this phone? So far as I know, the speakerphone is not on when I make a call.. but I haven't had an opportunity to check as I've only made one or two calls so far.. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!
