Send it from an email account such as Hotmail, Yahoo or Google Mail. You can use anything you want in the From box when you create the account.

It works on my phone. You have to be on the dialing screen and not the text message screen.

I called AT&T and they said that they do NOT recognize the #31#. So, I don't know what their problem is.

I have tried to send a text using *67 and the phone said "sent" but it was not in the sent folder, so, who knows. The merger with Cingular and AT&T is a mess.

    Thanks though.

Earl, thanks, but I guess I am really stupid here.. what do you mean "send" where is that?
Also, having all kinds of problems getting the stupid thing to quit trying to fill in a word when I do the first letter..This is not a user friendly phone, not compared to my motorola v635! Thanks for your help though, I am trying to learn it.

    Hello,

I just got a Samsung Sync, 707, branded Cingular. I am using my cingular sim and have totally fullfilled my contract.

I have tried star (*67) and that doesn't work, tried going to the menu where the phone settings are and "hide" my caller ID and the call won't go through.

Does anyone have a solution? I would greatly appreciate it.

    Thanks,
    DR
