    Hi there,

I just have a couple questions before I go ahead and buy my first cell phone... so hopefully someone can help me out a bit, I'm a complete noob when it comes to these things.

I'm looking to buy a cell phone off either ebay or tigerdirect.ca that I could hopefully use without signing a contract with any service providers... and that can also play mp3's. The reason for this is because I know I wouldn't be making or recieving many calls and would want to use it mainly as an mp3 player. Idealy I would like to be able to just buy a calling card from the corner store and just use the phone like that, but from what I've read it's not that simple. I've been reading about locked and unlocked phones but I'm not really sure how it all works because it seems even the unlocked phones have some affiliation with certain service providers. I'm kinda confused.

But yeah, if someone could list some good mp3 cell phones and give me some tips before I make a decision I would be really greatful. Thanks in advance!
