who is your pearl with?

Hello, I am very upset with my pearl. I just got it last week and I like the phone a lot but the reason I am so mad is because I cannot get it to sync with my computer. I have a mac mini G4 and I have tried both pocketmac and missing sync. Pocketmac syncs sometimes, but even when it does it does not transfer anything from my ical or address book! I would REALLY like to get missing sync to work but when I load up the program it does not recognize my phone I guess b/c no sync button comes up. If anyone has had a problem like this or knows how I can fix it it would be MUCH appriciated! I have tried over and over to replug the phone in, take the battery out and restart it..nothing has worked and I am really bummed. I also do not have a mini sd card yet, if that is the problem that would be great but I do not think it is.
