The only problemis that u cant choose which the phone should use (unless you turn the phone part off through the com manager). So for me i rackt up a bill of $70 in 2 days.

So the way how you get around that is by calling them up and requesting that they block all internet access that your phone may try to use.
(you know this has ben done once your phone starts shooting error 1012 everytime it trys to access the web when wifi isnt connected.)

Once you have called them and they say they locked it call back another 2 times and ask each representative to make sure it was done right. Bec. by me they kept saying the locked it but i kept getting charged till one representative actually knew what he was doing...

After i that just call back 2 days later and make sure they are not charging you.

I know it seems like a lot and you ay not think its worth it but anything beats getting that bill in the mail saying you used $200 of cision services

Silly rabitts...get on SERO plans...Google search, "Sprint SERO plan now for everyone!" Click top link and scroll down

They are open to the public and legal...and have free text msgs right now too. My advice is, cancel plan, pay fee, start SERO with LG Rumor (Black) for $50 w/free shipping (sell on ebay for $200 to cover cancel fee), switch your phone to new SERO plan and number, then love free internet, text msgs, nights and wknds, roaming and long distance, with 500 min for $30/mo. or 1250 min for $50/mo for life! (or until this is overpaying...LOL) Viola!!!

Myself and plenty of friends have done this with no questions asked... And damn my Mogul is powerful with unlimited data!!!

    Enjoy!

    The Phenom
If you're surfing over EVDO and not WiFi, then of course they're going to bill you. Pay attention when you turn on your WiFi. Give it a second to find a network before you launch IE.
If it hasn't found a suitable network and you launch IE, it'll connect via EVDO.

Oh sweet Ginger! I have tried like six hundred and fifty two thousand four hundred and fifty seven times! Actually, they told me that they would refund the charges back to my account, but never did. I have called about it and they told me they have no record of promising me any refund or credit.....( sound of grown man sobbing)....any suggestions or consolable action on your part would be much appreciated. Oh and thanks for the hugs and kisses. I need them.

I have had this phone for over 3 months. The only reason I got was to surf for free on my wifi. Guess what. I am being charges out the arse. Maybe its a setting I dont know. I wish I could set it so that it never connected through sprint. I am so unhappy with sprint right now. I feel like I am eating nails and crap'n barbed wire!

Like others have said, you can connect to your home networking as well as using other Wifi Hotspots (free ones are available like at Panaera Bread and I believe MacDonalds will start if they haven't already.) No hidden fees

Those are not hidden, they are local and states taxes. Sprint or any other provider does not control these. Those so-called fees do not go to your cellphone provider, they go to your government.

You're all TALK... and no WALK!

it'll connect to your home network so you dont have to use sprints slow evdo network (slower than common wifi, but faster than anything else offered by cell phone companies...)
