Yes, I found a 'pre-owned' one at a Sprint/Nextel store for $249.99 (they sell the phones turned in within 30 days for 1/2 price.) Which is still steep. I am looking for 1 year old technology. Any suggestions?

My company switched plans from verizon for no apparent reason, and I got a new Nextel Motorola i265 in the mail. I hated it, but left town for a funeral. When I returned and tried to exchange it, I found out my contract was at 34 days...4 days past my free exchange window. (one of the pains of getting stuff shipped through our corporate office 600 miles away).

I want to replace this phone, but do not want to pay full price for a replacement phone like the Sprint/Nextel stores insist on.

I bought an unlocked phone off of ebay, and that won't work on the Sprint/Nextel system. So then I found a nice Sprint Samsung a900m phone. I called the Sprint/Nextel store asking if this phone would work on the system and I was told, "sure, it is a Sprint phone, any Sprint phone will work on the system."

So I paid cash for the Samsung a900m....loved the feel and functions. Took it to Sprint/Nextel and was told it wouldn't work on the Nextel system. WHAT??? Sure enough, it works on the Sprint system, but not th Nextel system. Silly me...I thought they were the same system...WRONG! They would have to reconfigure my account billing and since it is a corporate phone, I didn't want to do that.

SO NOW I ASK!!! What phone do you all suggest getting?? I can't afford a new phone since this is all out of my pocket. What is the best used NEXTEL phone out there? It needs to have a slim profile...NOT like the thick log I now carry in my pocket the i265.
