This is for Alltel, for other carriers call and ask for an update...
If you're roaming in your local coverage area, you may need to update your Preferred Roaming List (PRL) software. Please complete the following steps:

    1. Make sure your Alltel wireless phone is on
    2. Dial *228 then press the SEND key
    3. Select option 2 (This process may take up to 2 minutes)

Okay thanks, I'll give that a try. Can't really find anything on the LG website for the model, so tomorrow I'll take it to a repair center, and let you know whats up. Thanks for the help though, it's appreciated.

My girlfriend has an LG UX355, from Us Cellular, and lately its been having this problem, where people can't call her, nor can she call out. At first I thought that maybe it had water damage, or something of the sort. Until, I realized, that the phone works.. But only during certain time of the day. It works every morning at 5:00 A.m until, about.. 4:01 pm. After that, it stops receiving, or sending calls. Odd thing is, she can still text with it. And I was wondering if anyone might know what be causing it? I was thinking some setting might be doing it, but I'm not sure exactly what. Called customer support, and they said if thats happening, then she's out of her service area, which is impossible.. So that was pretty much a dead end.. So any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Oh and very rarely, if a call does go through, and it's answered.. it disconnects after about a second and a half.
