Thanks, for the info, Peryus88! I'll be sure to check it out.
And to Charminade, yeah... I guess maybe it's because I put lots of pics and downloaded some Nokia software into it? Not that much, but maybe it's too much for the phone. Thanks anyway!

I just bought the N95 8GB phone and totally loved it!!

i dont know what to tell u...but i definitely heard about this a lot...my mom has had hers for a while (maybe more than 6 months) and hers is fine. however, she only uses the phone (doesn't put anything else on it) and probably doesn't even know there's a camera on it

    Welcome to CPF.

I've only owned a N93i for a few weeks then sold it because its lack of GSM 850 for at&t, but I never had a problem with it entirely freezing. It does lag, however, because you've probably been running the base firmware version that came with it right out of the box. Usually S60 phones that come right out of the box are a tad slow, so you need to update the firmware to newer versions to perform better. Also, since Nokia phones run on an Operating System called Symbian, they tend to be slow. That's one downside to the OS, but is more user friendly than Windows Mobile.

You can look up the latest firmware (Operating System) version by checking out the Nokia website and several other forums that are dedicated to S60s. If the firmware update doesn't help, flash the firmware. Just do a search on a search engine like Yahoo! or Google, and there will be some links to help you understand what to do. Just remember that if you're not used to flashing firmware, I'd suggest you find someone to do it for you who is versed in this. The N93i is still a great phone. It is one of the best cell phones for video recording, so you don't want to do anything that might "brick" your phone.

The N95-3 has already been released. And the opinions with what user would prefer will vary. Simple use of the phone with a smoothe browser and iTunes, then get the iPhone. If you want the bells and whistles of the N95-3, and that you intend to use them, then get that. I've had both the iPhone and the N95-1. Each has their pros and cons. It's best to do your research first, then make an informed decision.

I've been using N93i for about 6 months and the phone is lagging!
Most of the time when I send a message, see pictures or opening a folder, the screen will freeze for a few seconds before it opens. Any of you have the kind of problem?

My friend own a Nokia N95. And she said her phone was lagging to at first, but then there is a software that can be downloaded into the phone, so it'll operate faster. Anyone knows about the software for N93i?

One more thing, anyone knows when is the official release for N95 8GB?
Compared with iPhone, which one will you buy?

    Thanks!!
