4.x fw is alot better, at least it's stable (less crash like other mentioned)
but I also have E61, bigger landscape screen is pretty good for web browsing
the qwerty keyboard is pretty good for messaging and GPS input

That's why the prospective consumer does his/her research, learn how to update the firmware for better performance...like what greenblood stated in a previous post. Remeber that the the N73 isn't just a regular featured phone, it is a smart phone. And when it is used right, its OS of Symbian is more stable than Windows Mobile. Also, the N73 isn't that heavy, considering its size. It's actually slightly lighter than my slim SE K550i.

The N73 is probably the best Nokia Symbian phone on the market overall...although I haven't played with an N82 yet. If the N95 had a better battery life, it would win out.

I purchased N73 white IE in Hong Kong
larger screen is really eye candy
long battery time (4.5 hours 2G talking time; 2.5 hours for 3G)
V4 fw has no more violet tint cam
rather loud stereo speakers (top one is also used for speakerphone)
    a2dp support (V4 fw)
    rather stable (V4 fw)
the phone is cheap now, get it if you want it

Battery life on the N73 is excellent...surprising when I compared it to my previous S60 phones. I bought the a N73 about a month ago, and I prefer it over the SE K790a.

I bought a N73 Music Edition 10 days back and I just love its groovy music player. I got a set of Nokia headphones too.

I've noticed a queer problem........ I live in India so the timezone is set to GMT+5.5hrs. Whenever I take a picture with its camera the file timestamp on the image shows a time 5.5hrs behind i.e., it's still at GMT!!!! The time stored in the image EXIF data is accurate though. I checked this by transferring images to the computer. I don't get this error if I set the phone's timezone to GMT (London). Does anyone have this same problem?

It's a great phone, i like the large display best.

And I even downloaded my country map to it.

Battery is good for a cell phone with such a big display. I have an international version, and it's great. I don't really know what's the difference between US version and international one.

thinking about buying N73 for myself...How's the battery life on this one? I have seen them on ebay at around $300+ Does anyone knows what's the difference between International Version and US version? I seem to be able to find only the International version (on ebay), is there something about warranty in case something wrong with the phone?
    Cheers
