I understand, but it's risk vs. reward. If you can succesfully fix yourself, you've saved some money, otherwise you are taking a big chance screwing your phone up even more.

well its not under warranty. i dont want to have to spend money for a repair if i can get it fixed for free (well minus the cost of the product which is 15) but ya. originally my camera broke on it, which is covered under warranty, so i called in fora new one and as i was waiting for my new one to come i broke the screen, so i had to send the new one back because they wouldnt accept the phone witha damaged screen, so now the screen is perfect, but the mic doesnt work and i dont want to send it back with a broken microphone jsut incase they run a test and see it isnt working because then they will tack on a $250 bill to my account and honestly this phone is cool, but not worth that much. I paid $30 for it with a new activation lol.

why not send it to nokia repair? the average repair cost in my findings is between 50-100 dollars.

So i have a nokia 5300 music phone. A few months back my screen cracked. Don't know how cuz it was in my pocket all night but it did. Anway, i didnt fix it until 3 months later because i decided to look for new screens. I found some and fixed my screen, but while fixing my screen i broke my microphone and have been forced to use my ANCIENT nokia 3390 (haha) if i want to talk to people. I found a new microphone online. Now my question is how hard is it to replace? I found a couple videos online, but they are in spanish. some help please if possible? i miss my 5300 cant stand this 3390 lol.

    Thanks,
    Keith

i would set the link for my the mic i found in here but i cant post links yet
