Did you read the manual?

just got this samsung phone 3 days ago. so far so good. only one small problem. memory card died, but i got a different one. my problem is no matter how much reading and file converting and so on and so on, i cannot get a mp3 as my ringtone through my data cable.l also apparently i can use a "video" as a ring tone instead, however i cannot even figure that out. are there any kind of tech's out there. ?
