Place the audio file into the Windows directory on your Wing in order to use it for an SMS Alert Tone. Anything in the Windows Directory can be used as a Notification sound.

alot of the newer phone you can send a ringtone from your phone to another phone. as long as you didn't buy it. so if you get one online and send it to your phone you can send it to someone else from your phone too. or the ones you take a clip from one of your cds and send it to your phone.
somehow my daughter got some of them under the messaging tones. don't know how but atleast now i can hear my phone ring when i get a message.

hmm..I've seen it when you go on the web (computer) and text them to your phone at no charge and you dont have to use the web.
But I really dont know about grabing your ringtones from your phone and texting them to another phone.
Hopefully someone can come in here and show us. So I can try it myself too.

I am wanting to know if there is a way to use your ringtones (music ones) and set them for text messaging. I can't seem to get them to show up under the settings for text messaging to set them.
    Thanks
