if you are inside or page of your message center you can bring out the (+) by pressing your (*) twice. this is located under the number 7 key.
if you making a text massage and want to bring the (+) out, just press (*) once. you can do this if you are in a making a massage screen.

I just need to reconfigure my message center on my old nokia 8390,
I need to know how to add a plus + sign on the number part where my message settings are for the default profile on the messages part.

Can someone please tell me how to place a + sign on it? it will only accept number os the * or # sign...
