After some checking in the user manual and experimentation, I have discovered that the MP4 format used by the camera in the wing is faulty. It's creating an MP4 file container, but using the 3gp4 codec, so almost nothing else can understand it.

    Solution:
Go into the settings menu in the camera, and to the far right to Advanced Settings. Change the file format to Motion JPEG.
It will now record in MPEG Layer 2 as an AVI which works properly with everything.

Grabbed a quick recording on my Wing and discovered that it gets an MP4 extension, however it's actually a 3GP4 file. WM MP is able to play this, however normal WMP and QT and such are not. RealPlayer was able to play it however. I'll see if i can find out what can convert it to something useful.

Ah what I shuda said was connected to pc, I didn't actually try to drag the file wile the Sync was in progress just to clear that up. But yeah I right clicked the file after I moved it, went to properties and tried to change it to open with WMP and that wudnt play either. so I dunno what else to do.

it doesnt really matter what your phone uses to play the file, the format is probably readable by your zune on your pc. TRy using quicktime to play the file or real player for 3gp or something like that... i forget right now.
