When a call comes in and the slider is closed, does the virtual pad appear on the screen to allow you to answer it that way?

    I guess we'll see what happens...thanks.

Any additional input you could provide would be appreciated.

Actually I have another question for you, how is the reception, call quality with the 760?
Call pad does pop up and you can use the touchscreen or the left "soft key" to answer, in addition to the green button on the left. Reception and call clarity is better (so my one call indicated) than the Treo 700P. All told this phone is going back, never to be looked at again.

Wow, what an utter failure in the R&D and testing department.

Well, the pluses are big pluses, and the minuses are BIG minuses. as many have said in reviews, the slider opens WAY too easily. The END CALL button is in the worst place it could possibly be in. Seriously, who the hell tested this phone for Samsung? I so wanted this phone to be great, but if I get 9 of them for my company, I will have a never ending stream of complaints.

Haven't hooked it up to our Exchange server yet, so no info on that. Screen is nice, keyboard takes some getting used to coming from the Palm (I actually liked that keyboard).

Verdict is still out for me....

I'll be getting one in about a month or so, but from the many user reviews I've read, the two ways you mentioned are currently the only ways to get it out of sleep mode.

How do you like it overall?

Hi all, noob here, first post.

I just got an I760, and am wondering if there are any other ways to bring it out of "sleep" than pressing the tiny button on the top or opening the slider? When I grab it to make a phone call, neither of these two options make much sense, but I haven't found a work around yet.

I am coming from a Treo700P, and liked the power and screen lock button being on the front.

    Thanks in advance.
