Yeah friends this is another serious drawback of the phone I feel. Even if I consider myself unable to install the games then the interface should have been designed in a manner that would make life easier for us to do so, in every aspect you look at this its the phone which is at fault. So many minus points is not doing any good for me as far as the phone use is concerned.

dont think it works. i dont have a data plan, but my bro does. and after many tries with this, i just put his sim in my phone and bought the damn game. then switched our sims back out. *shrugs* it sucks but buy tetris and you can play for hours and get your moneys worth.

I recall reading something about this in the manual provided with my cu-720. I think this phone only plays j2me games/apps. I can't browse my file system over the bluetooth so I can't verify that against what I downloaded from att. I'm a bit of a sceptic though and I wouldn't be surprised if this function was locked by att.

    Thanks,
However I do not have the data plan.

Do you know of a way to bluetooth them or upload them on a mem card?

Maybe I just need to stop being cheap and upgrade my plan.

navigate to a site for mobile apps that you find like getjar.com or any other site that has mobile apps and you can simply type in the link to the download or go to the site on the phone

I tried to download Java games on my LG shine KG70, i transfered them from PC to my internal memory (Folder Others), both .jad and .jar file, according to
consumingexperience.com/2007/06/lg-shine-ke-970-mobile-phone-how-to.html]LG Shine KE 970 mobile phone: how to transfer Java games from computer - A Consuming Experience

there is suppose to be an Option "Install" after you highlight the .jad file in your phone.. but my phone does not have that option anywhere after i tried for about 10 games..
anyone else has this problem? why doesn't my phone let me install??
